
I've been playing music for 45 years, starting on the clarinet in Waukegan, Ill, under Bernard Stiner. I attended North Texas State U and studied jazz and improvisation with Rich Matteson, completing a music degree at San Diego State University getting some invaluable tips on mprovisation from the bop great Charles McPherson

For the past few years, i have been performing as a solo sax with backing tracks. This allows me to bring quality backgrund music to many kinds of events, including weddings, dinner parties, house parties, restaurants, happy hours, cocktail hours.
I play a variety of songs from many eras in a jazzy style. Not limited to jazz standards, I also play pop tunes, classic rock songs, latin and some oldies. My tone and style have been compared to Paul Desmond, Dave Koz, Dexter Gordon, Earl Bostic and Stan Getz.
